In this group of drawings I examine a wall--over a period of years, at different times of day, and night. This wall is the kind of place that usually goes unnoticed. Photography, often captures this kind of quiet place, with balanced composition and deadpan beauty. Drawing and painting are 'slower' art forms, so looking closely at a wall (for hours) while working, is a much different undertaking. These drawings capture nature, light, and shadows moving on an urban wall.
